Personal Comic & Trailer

Each participant in the Pixels 2 Purpose program develops their own comic book characters, universe, and story. We use these creative elements to then show the students how to use creative tools to design, layout, and develop their own comic. Each student produces their own content and designs their entire book using Adobe InDesign and other Creative Suite products. They also create a video trailer for their creation. All of the content is based on their real world experiences and highlight a fictional version of their “real world”.

What people are saying…

Cooley Comics produces workshops (AI Comic Labs) and programs that teach digital creativity tools (including AI) and project management skills to participants who create comic books based on their experiences. The process is vetted and 100+ individuals are testament to its efficacy. It is not an understatement to claim that this program has transformed lives.

“It’s crazy to think, a few months ago I didn’t know anything about digital art and now I’m getting paid to make comic books, all because of the AI Comic Labs.”

Justin (Rochester, NY)

“I’ve spent 10-years trying to write a book. After one Zoom sesh, I rewrote my story in 45 days and am publishing with Cooley Comics. Thank you!”

Amanda A. (Washington, DC)

“What a great time we had at the workshop last week with y’all! The kids were all so grateful and more engaged than I have ever seen them. This is something very special.”

Rebecca C. (Rochester, NY)
